Warp Analysis
Warp analysis shows the deflections of the product post ejection due to polymer shrinkage, orientation, cooling differential and corner effects.
Warpage results can be used to identify areas of excessive warpage, referencing product drawings and tolerances, it is possible to take point to point measurements from the analysis results to ensure the critical dimensions will be within tolerance after moulding.
Warp analysis report results and information can include:
- Total deformation
- Deflection in the X-, Y-, and Z-directions
- Deflection history at any node
- Deflected component shape with exaggeration factor
